Integrated Program of Management
IPM stands for an integrated program of management an integrated course of five years offered by the Indian Institute of Management. Throughout the course, students will get to learn about management with the social education needed. The Selection Process for The Integrated Program of Management Course (IPM)
Students need to fill out an application form which aims to understand the student’s proficiency in academies as well as curriculum activities.
After that students need to appear for the entrance test that measures a student’s performance in aptitude, logical reasoning, and level of knowledge in language and mathematics.
From the above students who enrolled in the entrance test, only qualified and shortlisted candidates are allowed to appear for the next step where a team of well-qualified professors takes a written ability test and personal interview where they test the student’s confidence, communication skills, general awareness and knowledge.
The eligibility to enroll in the IPM course is 60% in 10th and 12th grade for general categories and 55% for other categories. In terms of age he or should should not be more than 20 years. The student can be admitted to any of the institutes around the country like IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Jammu, and IIM Bodh Gaya. IPMAT is an entrance exam for admission in Indore and Rohtak whereas JIPMET is for admission in Jammu and Bodh Gaya.
This is a full-fledged course to provide students with comprehensive knowledge about management skills where the goals to focus on during the first 3 years are following:
Demonstrates student’s language and communication skills, knowledge of the basic foundation of management studies, ethical understanding, and social consciousness
The last 2 years are PGP where advancement is required for a student’s capacity to develop critical thinking, the ability to work in a team, and as an ethically motivated manager and entrepreneur.
